In this excursion you will visit the typical African villages where you will be able to see the daily and extraordinary life of the local population. You will get lost in the immense eyes of the curious children who flock to see the Mzungu (white faces)
A day dedicated to the discovery of one of the most beautiful beaches on the Kenyan coast: CHE SHALE (the golden beach) which owes its name to small specks of pyrite present in the sand which, in contact with the water on the shoreline, illuminate it with a thousand reflections .
A paradise for kiters, CHE SHALE is home to one of the most well-known KITE schools in the world. You will visit typical African villages and see the extraordinary daily life of the local population.
You will lose yourself in the immense eyes of the curious children who will flock to see the Mzungu (white faces) who, full of emotion, will peer at the mud huts with thatched roofs animated by the thousand colors of its inhabitants. we will go towards Malindi.
Beyond the city of Malindi, we will arrive at the bridge over the Sabaki river (the river is the one that crosses the Tsavo East park, with the name of Galana, changes name to Sabaki for the last stretch before flowing into the Ocean) past the village of Mambrui, we leave the main road to reach Corale beach where we will leave the car to take the motorbikes and make our way on the golden beach to Che Shale.
It will be a beautiful experience, among the colors of the beach with grains of golden sand, sailing boats and fishermen. Arriving at CHE-SHALE, it is possible to take the sailboat to go snorkeling and have a seafood lunch with cold drinks accompanied by African music. (For those who don’t like boats, we stop on the beach where you can lie in the sun, swim in the ocean, watch the evolutions of Kite Surf enthusiasts. At 1.00 pm you can have a fish-based lunch including crab in the restaurant opposite at the beach).
For the return we will take another route with our jeep or car, to get to the main road between palm trees, dunes, a real “camel trophy”. In some places the road is paved with coconut shells to prevent the jeep from getting stuck in the sand.
After about 3km, we arrive at the main road back to the village
